Going to P.O.T.

Neither of us are really gamblers, and Donna doesn't even really like the shore, yet here we are in Atlantic City for the second time in two months. We are here as guests of Harley-Davidson, where Kev is attending HOG Primary Officer Training (or as we affectionately refer to it: P.O.T.)

While class was in session, Donna and the other Lehigh Valley chapter officers' significant others spent Friday and Saturday hanging out in town and getting a head start on the drinking. At the reception Friday night, Kev did one hell of a job catching up. The aftermath of this was clearly evident the following day, and there were others from our chapter who were similarly situated. Oh, well.

All in all, we had a good time learning, hobnobbing with Harley brass and officers from other chapters, and being impressed with how the boys from Milwaukee put on a shindig. And, another stretch of I-95 faced and conquered in the process.

Reading & Lancaster

Froze our patooties off again today, especially in the morning, but it was a sunny day and time for a ride, dammit. We set off for Reading and Lancaster, and spent the day dodging horse exhaust. We seem to be making a habit of taking Donna to places she's never been before, and we both sure enjoy it.
